i wanna put 18" wheel on rear of my 08 deluxe can i put the 4.25" on without any issues and if so what size tire with stock fender

and if i have to go with 3.5" what size is that tire and does diamondback still do the white walls.

also one more question for those running 21 on front do you prefer the 21 by 3.5" or 3"

I also have a 21/3.5 to fill out the fender more

Hi, the 2008 Deluxe will fit a 18 x 4.25 Rear wheel with a 150/70-18 tire as Kozy said. This is the most popular rear setup you'll find for the 2008 Deluxe on the rear, our customers do it all the time.

As far as the front wheel, in most cases... The 21 x 3.0 or 3.50 is the same rim, just measured from a different area on the rim. If the wheel your are looking at actually is different, its rare but they both will accommodate the 120/70-21 tire fine. All of our wheels we call the 21 x 3.50 size because of where we measure at on the rim.

PM us for any other questions. We are HAPPY TO HELP!!!!

18x4.25 with a 150/70/18 tire. That is how it is done on a Deluxe. 25mm bearings etc. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Wheels are on my brain, all the time.

Kozy, I'm seriously considering a set of wheels exactly like you have. I've shy'd away from a 21" up front, but I'm getting a hankerin'!

The difference between a 3.25" and 3.5" width rim is miniscule. It is literally 1/8" on each side of the wheel. People who are not as well versed in wheels as myself would never know the difference unless I told them.

We all want what is going to ride the best but I have had ridden all different size wheels and cannot distinguish between 3.25 and 3.5 at all. I'll find a pic of my ride from the front with the 3.5 and see if I can find a 3.25 and get pics for comparisons sake as it alwyas nice to see if we can actually see the difference. Happy hunting.
