Magic eraser. I've used them to clean chrome polish off of my engine.
Using Simple Green with it helps.

S100 engine brightener or WD40 both are good.

i have the hd denim cleaner for my iron,

i said screw it lemme try it on there while i was cleanen the tins
, it works damn good ,
i also tried it on my exhaust which i sprayed to match the denim,
and it works great as well .. give it a whirl , it works for me

i just spray it on the cloth and wipe of till dry - and the heavier junk i just spray it direct

I use Meguiars hotshine tire coating. Does not smear on chrome and after 1st heat up evaporates and leaves engine black looking new. Plus its cheap and found about anywhere

Yes indeed, WD40 works great. With the engine cool, just spray and wipe.
