Default What can I do with these wheels?

Just looking for opinions on what to do with the wheels. I am purchasing this bike and the wheels is the first thing I will work on. I do not know if I want to paint, chrome or even replace them.

What say you?

I agree with option 3. Bike looks nice but wheels don't.

Fat spoke wheels and mini APEs? what do you think? Or maybe keep the drag style throughout with solid chrome wheels.

The problem is that the bike is a 1994 and I have not been able to find a good selection of wheels for that year.

Chrome them. And is the rear fender a different color? Also can you twist your Air Cleaner? It's more crooked than mine.

LOL it is crooked big time. I have not taken possesion of the bike yet. I am fairly certain I will land it but only Saturday will know.

I think I want to chrome them. The chroming will run way less expensive than buying a new set of rims and I do not want to spend too much on an older bike.

The rear fender is matching color. If you look closely the tank starts getting darker towards the seat so the fender follows that theme perfectly. The best part of the bike is the paint job and frame powdercoating.

Look at any wheels with 3/4" axles. There are tons of choices out there. I run 05 wheels on my 96.Pulley and rotors need to be changed but stock pieces can be had cheap on here and ebay.

The bike is cool! I will agree with others and say the bike would look way better with new wheels. The current wheels date the bike...

Powder coat them Black.
Cheaper than new wheels by far.

I dont get why rims for bike are 5X the price then for cages.
I mean 1200+ for ONE rim, gimme a break.

Thanks guys. I found a place that will do both wheels chromed for 700. I think it is a steal at that price for both wheels.
