So I get mine today...hook it up and get "NO CAL" on the display. The plug that comes with it to do "data transfer" doesnt plug into anything on the Breakout. Go through every thread I can find and everyone else says you jsut plug it in...well mine says "No Cal" wether the bike is turned on or off and always displays nuetral and right hand turn signal...not sure WTF is going on....why are all the easiest upgrades so friggen hard!! LOL

RedRider, I remember reading recently in another thread a guy that was having problems with his new speedo because his "new" speedo had been "married" to another bike previously.

Yeah...his had "No Cal" and "Vin Err"....mine is just "no Cal" Mine came with a data cable that you are supposed to hook to your data port so it can transfer data from the ecm, but its only a 4 port vice a 6 port...so I am thinking maybe I got the wrong part number....but it seriously sounds like the same one everyone else got....says it will work with sportster if you add the fuel level kit etc...part 70900274

So great...part 70900274 is identical to 70900100 in every single aspect except it doesnt work on my bike....I can already feel the zero return policy getting ready to rear its ugly head at my local HD dealer on Thursday!!! Can feel that I am going to be going postal in my local shop and will probably be barred from the building!!!!

will this thing fit a 2001 Fatboy? I'm just wondering... since their description is kinda vague.
