Exclamation I would like to have the Custom Dynamics

run, turn, brake module with the LED's for the turn signals front and rear and the brake light but i am wondering if i can use the H D run, turn, brake and use LED's from AutoZone, Advance, or O'reileys. My bike is an 05 Deluxe. What would it take to make that work with the H D Module? Has anyone done this? Big price difference in the two.

Thanks

I haven't done that but I do have the Custom Dynamics LED setup and it's worth every penny.

Those cheap bulbs from O'Reilly's etc. are just that. Better off saving your pennies for the real thing. I couldn't afford the whole set-up all at once so I'm doing it a piece at a time. Is it the best way? No, but only way I can right now.

I have been using the LED bulbs from Auto Zone on my 09 Street Glide for a little more than two years and no problem here. I think they were like $8.95 ?????

Just my opinion. I knew I wouldn't be happy with that type of bulb, is all. I did the fronts 1st, rear turns are next, then the brake light and controller for it. My biggest decision is whether to go red or amber on the rear turns.

I bought the LED 1157 bulbs from auto zone. I changed just one and compared and it was dimmer than the factory incandescent bulb. I have since spent the coin on the Custom Dynamics LED's and they are worth the money. Very bright.

I got the custom Dynamics like everyone will say it's worth the money (Bright as hell). With the Custom Dynamics you get a lifetime warranty, great customer service, and I think (CD) have more LED bulbs than the Auto Zone ones. Besides the different choices instead of just one color bulb. I'm saving for the day maker headlight now cause the CD rings make my factory headlight look dim as hell.

The HD turn signals are available with amber or smoked lenses in the front and red or smoked lenses in the rear. I chose amber for the front and red for the rear. I have matching LED fender tip lamps from Custom Dynamics. In my opinion, the red turn signals in the rear look better especially if you use the run/brake/turn module.

Maybe pictures can help

Another +++ = CD's lights, even though they are $pendy, have "Lifetime Warranty." Can't beat that!

More importantly they honor that warranty. I had two LED's go out on one cluster after about 2 years and I emailed them a pic and they sent me a new one right out. I used the red LED's in the back with the run stop brake module and smoke lenses all the way around. Way brighter than anything else I've tried and clear when off so no more egg yolk look.
