Night train belt adjustment spec/procedure
I have to service a friends night train that I dont have a manual for. Can anyone tell me what the belt deflection on a 07 Train and is it done with a rider on it or unloaded on the jiffy stand? Thanks

1/2 a inch is the norm, that should be fine.

No weight on the bike, it can be on the stand or on the rack.

One way to check the belt tension thats been posted in here for yrs is while on the jiffy stand, Using Ur thumb and index finger, twist the bottom belt in the middle.
If U can twist it about 45* then its awful close to proper tension.
