I PM'ed fellow member 'micahpop' who has his tank console on his rocker modified by Pete from Rocket bobs.
I e-mail Pete and he wants me to send my console so that he can shave off and sendme back with the mod.
My dilemma
1. To send all the way to England for such a mod.
Is there anyone inside conus who does this mod or who can do this mod?

I've spoke with Pete as well but I'm just not comfortable sending it out taking the chance of it getting lost in the mail or lost in customs

 

Yeah that's the same issue that I'm facing also..
If I've to send it overseas what if it gets lost in customs...too much to worry about...
Trying few local indy shops and figuring it, if they can do it

OT:
spoke to Brian from Jokermachine and they have a side mount speedo clamps for 49mm forks so hoping to put that on mine but he said the max size of the speedo that it can take is 3.5".
Is the fxcw a 3.5" speedo?

 

Rocker speedo is 3 3/8"

 

Contact Kevin at DK customs. I was gonna use their speedo relo kit. It mounts to the gas tank bolt. Plus the price is nice too

 

The smooth dash looks bad ***.

 

Although these relo kits were designed for Sportys, they will fit some Softails that have the same Speedo size as the Sportys.

 

Might be easier to modify a Blackline dash to fit.
