Default Gasser wheels

I know 24v has already done this, and I can see you're a chrome lover, but I reckon your bike is a perfect candidate for those gasser wheels to be PC'd gloss black. Nothing more then just the wheels, and with that up against all that chrome that'd look **** hot!! IMO
Now that you mention it, that is a freakin' slick idea. What are folks doing with the machined flat on the shiny side of each spoke? anybody profiling them down to make the spoke semetrical or just powedercoat as is?

ps.. thank you for the compliment on the bike. Much appreciated.

You would have to machine the wheel lip as well if you wanted to do that. I left them because I figured it would look boring otherwise. Plus I'm not a fan of removing that much material from a cast wheel.

I totally agree. I'm installing chrome Gasser wheels but, apart of being polished, I left them as they are for the same reason.

Default my bike seems to be smoking...

Nice work, York PA!!! You guys and gals build a bad moto-scooter! I love the bike!!!

2013 Harley Softail Breakout burnout - just for you that like to play, the rear tire is about $343, mount and balance is $157, my tire was perfect after 2,300 miles, but after a couple three 40 footers, she's toast... so, if you're gonna do it, might as well enjoy it. I have one more good one left on her, so GoPro for the win... (PS - watch your sheet metal! )

Default Rear Axle Cover Part#

HeadHunter, that is one bada$$ scooter my friend!

I hate to ask a simple question, with all the technology you've provided already.... but what is the part# for those rear axle covers PN 44345-09? Were they hard to install? Thanks for any help and keep up the good work.

Ride on.....

Amber2014, the rear covers are HD factory accessories for a Harley Rocker. They fit over the rear axle perfectly. no need to pull the wheel to install. I just added the Arlen Ness rear lights to them (wet installed with RTV and Loctite).

Default Breakout Lights

First off, let me say what an AWESOME build you did Head_Hunter! I wish I had the stones to tear into mine like that, but not yet. Hard to convince the g/f that I spent 20k on a bike and immediately need mods... haha.

I did, however, change out the lights on my 2014 Breakout with Chrome fork-ring LEDs and rear under-mound LEDs.

More mods to come as time and money permits...
