You must have a local bike mag. We have "Full Throttle","Carolina Chrome", etc that list all kinds of rides. Hit up your dealer, local indy shops, etc. Also, the reason I mentioned Google was to say "hey, spend some time using google and see if you can't find some info".
Also, search this forum using "Virginia" or something to try and find rallies in your area.

Lee County, Va.
I ride through that area often. There isn't much going on except agriculture, as it is a very rural area.Just past Rose Hill on Hwy 58 going towards Jonesville, is a little place called Dutch Treat on the right. I think the folks that own/run it are Menonites or something...Anyway, the have the best pastries you'll ever eat. They makes them all from scratch as well as home made bread. I like their sandwiches but their pastries are killer. If you like hiking the AT runs through there, and the is a place off the AT called Sand Cave that is beautiful.

Like Dyna Rider said, there isn't much going on there. Agricultural and a very slow pace. I grew up close to that area and go back often and it hasn't changed since I moved away in the 60's. Don't get me wrong though, it's easy on the nerves, beautiful country, and some very nice people. It's right in the middle of the "Bluegrass Music" belt also. Only problem IMHO is that you have to travel a good distance for serious shopping. If you like "quiet" you're going to love it.

Actually they are offering me a Applied Psychologist liscense and with the federal prisons and the forensic work I do, it will work out great. The reason I ask about the rallies is i also run Books for Charity, inc a 501 c 3 non profit charity and I would like to start a 3 day rally in the Jonesville area after I move down, to benefit our organization.
