Default November 14th, 2009 Phx-Tucson Heart Attack Grill run

The Tucson guys were asking me how to get to the Heart Attack Grill, so I promised to show them the shortest possible route See ride plan below.

Phx group will meet at the River Bottom in Florence (2501 N, Hwy 79), kickstands up at 8:30AM.

Phx group will then proceed to Oracle Junction where we will meet the Tucson group in the restaurant parking lot. Kickstands up at 10AM.

Entire group will then head "directly" to the Heart Attack Grill, with I'm sure a couple of stops along the way. We should be there in plenty of time for the previously planned 2PM meet and greet with a few of the CA forum members.

As always, everyone is welcome to join.

Matt... I do believe that is the most direct route... good planning!!

I'll try to find out the soccer schedule and see if I can let you guys know what to expect from us. I really think our tournament is only a few miles from the Grill, so we should get there by the tail end of it, maybe.

Matt ,just a few important questions . Leather optional , Tennis shoes are ok , Spouses optional , Are Deuces welcome ? Is this a 5mph over ride or 10 ? TJ wants to know if crotch rockets are ok ? Can we ride three to a bike ? [thats for Beth ] Skill level needed for ride ? When you post a ride you need to address these issues .Thank you . Riders if theres anything I missed please add. We can discuss at clubhouse if needed .

Leather is always optional, but preferred in some circles.

Tennis shoes are ok ,
Only if we're stopping to play tennis.

Spouses optional ,
Spouses generally determine if they are optional.

Are Deuces welcome ?
You can bring the whole damn deck of cards if you want.

Is this a 5mph over ride or 10 ?
As always, this is determined by whether or not twisties are involved.

TJ wants to know if crotch rockets are ok ?
Tell him he should handle that situation before the ride.

Can we ride three to a bike ? [thats for Beth ]
Only if they stay in the back out of sight and don't get the whole group pulled over.

Skill level needed for ride ?
Five on a scale of ten, unless twisties are involved.

When you post a ride you need to address these issues.
Done.

Thank you.
You're welcome.

Riders if theres anything I missed please add.
I told you I already did it.

We can discuss at clubhouse if needed.
No one told me we had a clubhouse, you guys have been holding out.
That should about cover it.

Hmmm, I was of the impression (probably garnered since riding with this bunch) that while riding a motorcycle the POSTED speed limit was only a SUGGESTED limit. Then again, I could be mistaken

That's true, we made prety good time getting back to Phoenix last night.

The lower the chance of an LEO presence, the more the throttle rolls back. We go pretty slow through small towns.
