Default Picked her up today...

Well after only doing my full test 6 weeks ago, I bough my first bike, here she is:

I've not sat on a bike since retuning from my test 6 weeks ago but was faced with a 250 mile ride through Scotland and Northern UK to get back home near Manchester. There are not many better places to ride!!

REALLY loved it! It's an Iron 883 converted from new to 1200 by HD with Stage 1, V&H short shots, Mustang Solo seat, forward controls AND a bar mounted clock!! ;-)

Was covered in bugs by the time I got home but now washed and have just come in from a night ride. I need a couple of bar ends from somewhere.

So, the wait is over and well worth it it was too!

Really nice looking bike. 250 miles is a great first ride for a new to you motorcycle.
Can't think of a better way to get a great deal, and to thoroughly get to know the machine on your first outing.
But then again.......I have bought 4 used bikes more then 200 miles from home.

Nice bike. I wished I had the type of scenery you had on your ride home. I have to ride pretty far to see some good roads that are not corn fields. ENJOY!! I put about 3,100 miles on mine and I’ve only had it for 3 months.
