Default new handlebar recommendations

I don't know if you can see in the pic, but that's the bars that are on the bike now, I'm assuming stock.
I want to ditch the ugly stock riser and get some apes, but nothing too tall, and I want to lean back more. With these bars now, I feel like I'm leaning too far forward.
Any suggestions?

Speedometer relocation from DK Customs isnt too expensive. Get some 1.5 to 3 inch risers. Most "mini apes" are 10 or 12 inches and would give you a cool, comfortable ride. I'm getting the 10 inch Harley mini apes because I'm only 5'6. They are the same ones that come stock on the 72.

This was precisely my requirement and I got mini-ape buckhorns. Roughly 8.5" high and 6.5" pullback which gives a comfortable riding posture for those longer rides. I didn't ditch the stock riser/speedometer setup though which gives me a total handlebar height of 12" (I think stock risers are 4" high). With a little trial with how much I want to rotate the handlebars to get the optimum comfort, I can say this has been the best mod so far comfort-wise. Check my sig pic to get an idea on height and pullback of the handlebars.

And, I am 5'5" with boots if it helps.

I'm running the HD mini apes with 2.5" riser extensions.

This combination puts the handlebars right where they need to be for me to be comfortable riding.

I've got 10" narrow apes. They are super comfy. I suggest looking at zombie performance. I think they make the best bars on the market with a great selection.

Put a set of stock H-D bars like the ones that come on the new 1200T on my 2014 iron 883. Hadn't seen before I did it and discovered no other parts were necessary. Only needed to slightly reposition brake lines, etc. Was even able to use stock cable guides in original positions. Gets you in an upright position and hand placement is like ape but not as high. Really like them.

Default internal wiring.

I know you can run the mini apes with stock cables, but can you run them internally without extensions on the switch wires?

Hey Soulrida where did you get these 1200t stock handlebars and would they fit a 48?
