Default Clutch lever issue

Hey guys got in a wreck the other day. Bike slid and most of the damage was done to the clutch lever and shifter. I've replace the shifter and thought the lever only had cosmetic damage until I drove it today. The problem I'm having is when I squeeze the lever and let go the lever does not go all the way back out. Any idea how I can adjust this?

Back the cable adjuster right off and see if the lever moves freely on its pivot. If not, dismantle it and inspect, you may need to replace other parts. If it does move OK then check clutch adjustment. Let us know what you find.

Did you replace the lever only? It's possible the housing was bent slightly, or the cable run is crimped somewhere. If the only damage was to the clutch handle, it shouldn't affect full travel when releasing.
