Default I'm going to cry

...so I woke up this morning and looked out of our bedroom blinds to see this...

...There was a high-wind warning last night, and apparently the cover on the bike - blocking the rain - turned Nyx into a big kite. The landlord happened to be here, so he helped me pick her up, but I'm literally nauseous. I guess 'winter' renovation will be sooner than I wanted or can afford.

That's nasty! better tie it down like an airplane when there is a wind warning from now on.
Did it bend the handle bars in to get that dent in the tank?

Wow, that sucks! When I first looked at the pic my first thought was vandals. Its a good thing it landed on the grass instead of the asphalt

I know the feeling! I bought a new (2 weeks old) Tourglide in 86' and had it covered at work. My boss calls me up and said the guards called and said my bike was on it's side, we were having high winds at the time ................. engine guard burn and took a dime size chunk out of the fairing corner .........
