I ordered and installed the Further Forward Mid Controls from Harley for my 2014 Sportster 48. The mids from the Iron 883 where to cramped for me and the forwards where too much of a reach. These Further Forward Mids are perfect! You just need to be aware that a lot of aftermarket exhausts may not fit them, but to me, the riding position and comfort means more to me than the exhaust.

The 1200s require a bigger package to ride...get my drift?

If anyone has used these with short shots please post.
Personally kinda torn. Forwards are comfortable and I like being stretched out, so long as the road is smooth. If the road is bumpy, your back takes a beating.Around here, the road is rarely smooth. Seems like it might be a nice compromise.
P.s. Already switched seats and shocks.
