I have a '06 Sportster 1200XLC and I put on CycleShack 2.5" slip-ons a couple months ago. I noticed the other day that oil is splattered on the intake, oil reservoir, and rear exhaust. I remember that when installing the slip-ons that the back one went right on and the front one wasn't as snug. I am pretty sure I have a hole in my front header seal. Just wanted to get the forums opinion and best resolution to fix it.
There is no oil coming from your exhaust. You would hear popping or other noises during deceleration if it was the exhaust system.
I'm going to bet your oil is over filled and puking oil thru the breather bolts.

^ This. Put some XiEDs or another fuel management system to reduce popping.
2.5" slip-ons must be pretty loud.
