Do all battery covers on the 2014 sportster , are they all the same ? i am looking at HD photos , they look the same to me ..from 883 up to 1200 ...

 

most likely...check ronnies hd website...has microfiche pics and part numbers

Except paint. Different part numbers for different paint, but they are interchangeable.

 

Although they are all interchangeable, they are not all exactly the same. I've seen some with a slot near the top where it connects to the frame and those that don't. I use(d) that slot to ziptie the cover to the frame so it wouldn't fall off. The bike I have now didn't have that slot. So I drilled a hole.

 

scuba, thanks on the part number info, didn't realize the part number was for different colors. my sporty is an 08. the newest sportster ive owned was an 09, so I didn't know if anything changed as far as where it attaches to the frame...by plastic clips or something "improved". as far as it "looks", they look the same to me from 04 and up. that's why I suggested checking part numbers.

 

I'm only replying to OP's question about the 2014 models covers all being the same except for paint. I don't know if they have made changes since 2004 to the construction.
