this is what I would do
check the oil so that you know where it should be when 'normal'.
walk around the bike and check it out real good checking for anything
that doesn't look quite right such as oil leaks and grease coming from the wheel bearings..
admire the great paint and chrome and give it a nice shine up with a soft towel and windex...when it is real clean and shiny put a coat of wax on the paint..
check tires of cracks and age and add air if needed...
sigh loudly wishing it was nice enough to ride...
sit on the bike and raise the jiffy stand (side stand for newbees)
rock the bike back and forth and bounce the suspension to
get a good feel for the weight of the bike.. sigh again...
wait for good weather and ride the **** out of it...

Talking Congrabulations

That's what I've been doing ^^. I also got a bunch of little things while waiting for the arctic blast to end from the Harley store and J&P. I got a chrome voltage regulator cover, and chrome headlight bracket, and some new grips. It doesn't take much to make me happy.
