Default Rocker Gaskets online

A few days ago i noticed a leak just like:
https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...tor-mount.html

I'm up for replacing the gaskets myself, but I was wondering where's a good place to get them for a reasonable price. The local dealer here are nice guys, but the parts are amazingly expensive- mostly because I'm in Canada. I'm looking to order some online, and was hoping i could just get a the gaskets I need for this job not a whole rebuild kit.

Google doesn't return much for this part, I was hoping you guys could point me to a good online store.

I've got a 2008 Nightster.

Thanks for for your help.

There are several US dealers who discount genuine parts, including Surdyke, Kutters, no doubt others, however you may have challenges getting them across the border! Also take a look at J&P Cycles for aftermarket parts.

Living in the UK I am also accustomed to paying the H-D 'tax' and there are times when it can actually be time-consuming and costly looking around for alternative sources. So don't try too hard to save a few bucks!

I replaced a set last year on an older Sportster. Used either Cometic or James gaskets that I purchased on EBay … I believe Cometic. They worked just fine. Spend the $$ you save a factory service manual if you do not have one. As you may or may not know, your rocker arms must be in the correct position before removal and then reassembly.

The dealer quoted $60 for one set, $100 for both boxes, plus tax. It just seems a bit expensive to me and some people online swear Cometic over the HD ones.

Looking on Ebay with shipping, it's not any cheaper. JP Cycles seems to be the cheapest, but not by much (after shipping & conversion to Canadian). I just might get the ones at the dealer to support them and save some time.

Thanks.
