I know the clutch cable needs to be outside the forks, it is. What about the throttle cables?

I haven't fit the HD fairing, but it get's a lot of use in the Dyna section. People seem to like the quality.

My fairing is just a cheap Ebay fairing. It cost me more to paint it myself than it did to buy it.

The clutch cable will need to move as you indicated. Depending on your bars and riser combo, you may have to loosen the banjo fitting at your brake lever and turn it to a different angle. If you have generally wider bars, this may not be an issue.

My throttle cables tucked inside the fairing, but I think the HD fairing has more meat at the lower edge protruding rearward. You may have to deal with the throttle cables, but I can't really speculate.

I need some help with this. How far in are the upper brackets supposed to go? No way that I can see to get lower and upper both all the way in.

OK, here's a couple pics

Obviously, these are bracket only. If i can get this part right the rest should be easy. As you can see, the bottom prt is pretty much all the way in but the top is far from it. The safety spring does engage so I wonder how far in its supposed to go.

Well, temporarily out of business. Screw on one of the clamps broke. Not available locally of course. On to the oil cooler project.

Look for directions on how to change grips, these will show how to pop the cable. There's a bunch on YouTube, here as well I expect.
