Default Rear sprocket, is it supposed to look like this?

Doesn't look right to me at all! But its my first Harley?

D@mn...maybe PO lived/rode on gravel alot, or used bike as a "dirt bike."

It had one owner before me but he lived in east London?! Must have worked on a farm or something...

lower belt guard installed ? it looks like it picked up alot of grit/gravel /stone dust.

i removed my lower guard but added a new one when i did my summer oil changes.
this is what i want to avoid lol - i got the chrome lower belt guard , at least it looks good now lol

I live on a dirt/stone road I ride up and down it all the time and my sprocket doesn't look anything like that. I would definitely replace that or take a chance of chewing up the belt and it breaking. I know this is off the topic but, are the pitch of those shocks factory or did you change something?

ahh yeah another good point to check out - how is the belt ?? check it for rips or cuts or hairline cracks , i would be a little worried,the pulley looks like it has a few sharp spots ,but hey it could be nothing pix are never easy to figure out
