Default 2016 48 Tire swap

I just want to be sure and verify if a shinko 270 Classic tire can work with the solid wheel on the 2016 48. I am thinking about swapping the front and back with this tire.

My only concern is running a tube since the tire is a tube type and how that works with the stem. I know typically with Mag wheels you want to run a tubeless tire.

Help is appreciated before purchasing.

Cheers

You cannot run a tubed tyre without a tube, please don't try! Tubes are available with straight as well as off-set valve-stems, so it should be possible to get the right type.

You would need a tubeless type tire to run without the inner tube. The beads are designed differently on the tires.

Thanks. I think my question was more directed to switching to a tube tire and using the tube with the cast wheel. I know I will need to run a tube but can I take the vavke stem out for the one that comes with the tube?

Not seeing inside the wheel yet but is the valve stem attached to the rim via bolts where by you can take it out?

Cheers

Yeah, they are either bolted in or a rubber grommet style. Just pull the valve and then use the hole for the inner tube stem.
