Default rear brake pads . iron 2014

How do you work out which brake pads ..
I need to replace mine , but cannot find what type or spec they are ..
the owners manual says goto a harley dealer..
i was in an area that had some brake pads , asked Michelin , they have brake pads , but the guy said they would not fit a harley ..
what am i meant to buy ..
i got the commander 11 put on yesterday ..cost of mounting front and back , was usd 6.70 ..that was a good price ..
Michelin cannot fit for big bikes..but they sell the tyres..
USD 190, for front n back.
but now i need to buy brake pads ..help ..
what do i need to ask for ?

you don't have to buy from here but, there are a few types listed for your bike here to get you started. hd, ebc, lyndall, etc.... just search based on your year and what is available in your neck of the woods.

hd ref#-
Front hd p/n: 41300004
rear hd p/n: 41300053

teach the man to fish-
google loves you, searching by part number will turn up compatitble aftermarket replacements:
front- https://www.google.com/search?q=4130...hrome&ie=UTF-8
rear- https://www.google.com/search?q=4130...hrome&ie=UTF-8

thanks ....well down here , Colombia , it is a miracle getting anything ...they have things all over the place , yesterday was trying to buy 3 screws ...visited 6 different shops until finally one told me about a specialist shop ...you would never guess it from the outside..
so i need to tell them what i want exactly ...

There are all manner of options available in the aftermarket, but they may not be readily available in Columbia. That H-D cost may be exceeded by buying abroad and importing others, though that is worth investigating. I have recently used EBC and Brembo on my Harley and Buell respectively. I bought the Brembos on my local Ebay.

Don't waste too much time chasing this! You bought a foreign vehicle and an expensive one at that. Buying spare parts is not the time to have buyer's remorse, so smile and pay up!
