Default Buddha's Bike

Well guys and gals, I figured I'd show off my new to me bike. Got it about a month ago. It's a 2005 XL883L with the 1200 kit. Only 9,000 miles on it. Has way too much chrome for me, but that will slowly be changed. Only things that I have done to it so far is put smoked turn signal lenses up front and an LED headlight bulb. I have lots of idea for it and have many things I want to change. I will try and post pics as I go. I should also say that I am new to the forum. I can already tell there is lots of good info on here and lots of people that will be able to help me along the way.

Let me know what you guys think! Open to suggestions and opinions. Good or bad...haha

Thumbs up

Welcome aboard! The bike looks very clean but like you said, a little too much chrome.

With helpful suggestions on "How to make bike your own" this forum is kinda notorious to separate people from their money before they realize it. Other than that lots of nice folks and hundreds of years of collective experience to pull you out of any technical ditch.

Congrats!
Just ride the hell out of it for awhile and the ideas will start coming in fast and furious.

Thanks everyone! I really like the look of the ape hangers and they are more comfortable to me than the lower bars. One of these days they are getting painted black tho. My last bike ate up my money because it always broke lol (1974 Ironhead rigid Sportster) so hopefully this one doesn't break as much and I can spend the money making it how I want it instead of fixing it!
