2008 Ultra Classic. I was heading home from work. My battery light came on for about three minutes and then went off, voltage charge gauge went back up to 15 volts. I drive for about another 25 miles and then I no gears. The clutch lever felt fine and it seemed as if it was shifting thru the gears, but it wouldn't move.

were you rolling along and the bike came out of gear or had you stopped and tried to take off.
So you don't think the two could be related in any way?
The exact opposite. I think they ARE related.
The electrical system (stator and rotor) is attached to the main shaft that spins with the engine at all times.
The clutch is located on the secondary shaft but is connected to the main shaft via the primary chain.
If the bike is not moving with engine speed, there is a disconnect between the secondary shaft and the primary shaft. That could be the secondary shaft itself or its gears, clutch, primary chain, or the main shaft or its gears.
Since you're having charging issues, I'd suspect something on the main shaft is the culprit, since that is where the charging system is located and what drives the movement of the rest of the system as well.
