Question about duel disk forks

It appears above that the sliders, wheel, brake cal and rotor were the originals for that 2000-03 "Custom" model

The forks in your second pic are 1999-earlier which use a sliding caliper that are the same from any HD model line...sportster, dyna, softail, Touring

You probably won't be able to use that 2000-later Narrowglide wheel in that 99-earlier fork because it is slightly wider so the caliper won't align properly with the rotor and the rotor bolts will rub the sliders

so I need to dig up a 99 or earlier caliper?

Otherwise why don't you swap all this (minus the axle)

The local Guru who I would trust with my soul looked at everything and TOLD her her best n wisest way to go would be to just sell the left overs n put stock back on instead of piece meal bits n pieces.
