Finally! A proper painted fender.
Been a dang long time since my wreck. Finally got a rear fender! Been checking ebay daily for 20 months and finally had a listing in Pewter Silver, '96 with less than 2000 miles on it. Perfect year, perfect fit. $120 bucks, with a friggin light, harness and everything.

Unbelievable patience!
There's NO WAY that I would've made it even half that distance.
It looks GREAT now that it's finally complete.

Looks great! She is whole again! nice to see patience paying off. I bought my bike last year with a scratch in the tank.. been casually peeking on fleabay for a replacement. its annoying how 90% of the tanks for sale are damaged, but the jerkface sellers primary picture is of the undamaged side and "damaged" or "dented" is usually not in the title....
