Ok so I dropped my new bike twice before I reached the end of the driveway.
Now when you are done laughing, can you point me in the direction of a replacement shifter arm that I bent? And nevermind the electrical tape around my rear left tail light please.
Thanks so much, have a glorious day!

Now the lights on the "console" are flashing and it won't start. Cycled the key on and off several times, pulled the fuses no luck. I'm gonna cry I think I broke my new bike.

Your bike may have activated a tip-over feature, designed to stop the engine if you come off. Hopefully someone will call by soon with the way to reset it!

No criticism, but did you take and pass a Motorcycle Safety class?

I don't know guys. The first Harley I ever rode was a 1952 1200 FLH with a foot clutch and a hand shift. I never dropped it. I was 16 years old, the year was 1960. I didn't need a class to tell me not to do that. Maybe things have changed. Not at all making fun.

But you were young and had no fear back then!

Well that's true. But we still just knew better. Times have changed. Have been riding for 50 something years and have never taken a course and have never had a wreck or been down on the highway. I need to be careful, I could be way past due. LOL
OH and have never had a car accident either. Maybe I'm just damn lucky!!!

Will not be much help now , however here is my 2016 Iron. I bought these crash bars from the Dealer around $200.00 and installed myself. For the next time, I hope you never drop the bike again. These bars just might prevent any damage that might happen like your broken shifter peg .

Get some tools...you're gonna need them.

For the shifter, once you have tools, remove/heat/bend straight.

For the bike, if you haven't already, take MSF class...you're gonna need it.
