Default Anyone know what IM talking about ?

Hiya

I came across a cool little brake pad cover a few weeks ago, which is designed to slip over the Sportster rear break pedal...it seemed to be made in two pieces which linked together once applied, and had the appearance of the black rubber commonly used on the Skull series footpegs etc..

Does anyone have any idea where I may find these brake pedal pads ? I have surfed so many sites finding random custom stuff lately that I have no idea where I could have seen the pedal covers, and after customising almost everything down there, the old steel brake pedal is sticking out like a sore thumb...if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great....even better if someone has one of these installed and could upload a photo.

The other option is to drill a hole and bolt on one of the Willie G skull Brake pedals which fit the later model softails....does anyone have any idea how these pedal pads actually mount, as I have been to several dealers who will not let me take a peak inside the packet...I am hoping they mount via a bolt on the underside, is this correct ? I have seen a thread on this forum of other similarly drilled and bolted mods, and this is looking like an option if only I can be sure that buying a small pedal in the Willie G skull series won't be a waste of time.

Thanks Guys
SP

Try kuryakyn.com
Under Harley, Footpegs - There's a couple styles. One on page1 and one on page 3. Maybe others.

The Installation Instructions are on their web site, too.
I'm not in love with their stuff, but a lot of people use 'em.

Thats exactly what I mean guys...thank you all heaps...I'm a big fan of the Kuryakyn gear....just needed something that wouldnt draw attention to the stock-icity (new word) of the brake pedal. Cheers lads.
