Why or why not?

I don't have any tattoo's (yet), and I'm thinking of getting a realistic ruffed grouse on the shoulder. What thinks ye' all?

I've always wondered why people would pay for "art" on their body that they wouldn't hang on the wall.

 

Are you saying I should consider a Van Gogh instead?

Your life dude. I have 3 tattoos and would have more if I could afford more. I will eventually have a full sleeve on my left arm. As it is, I have tats on both shoulders, and my left arm from shoulder blade to elbow.

Just make sure you shop around. If you werre getting a portrait of your mother, would you just trust it to any artist? No, so shop around and look at thier work, find what and who you like. There are many styles and methods out there.

 

I like tattoos but don't have any. For me it is hard to choose something i wanted inked into my skin F-O-R-E-V-E-R!

 

Personally, I'm addicted to tattoo's.... I've got my 1st nine & once I finish flipping this house, I'll probably quickly make it a dozen. I saw a kewl Willie G skull with like flames around it that I'm sure I can find a place for. Currently most of mine are about my girlz (I have 4 daughters). I also have one with the NA symbol. Now if I can just find someone to skin me once I kick the bucket, then maybe it could be art on a wall.....

Got my first tattoo a 'couple years ago' (when I was around 15 years old from what I recall..)

Do what you want, as it's your body and your life, so only you can make the decision..

 

I'm like danmo. I just haven't found ANYTHING that I want to be a part of me for the rest of my life. Being on my 3rd wife, that isn't even a safe bet. And most jobs that I've had would require them to be covered up anyway.
