Default My New Daytona 3/4 Helmet!

After looking at the custom helmets on Justified Defiance, Licks, and Low Brow I decided to go the cheap route and buy a Daytona 3/4 Helmet and get it striped. I searched the other forum and found a similar helmet striped by Al Battista (www.pinheadlounge.com/albrush). I had Al do a similar job on my helmet but with different colors. I am happy with the results! It looks much better in person...the pics don't do any justice. I especially love how the orange "pops".

Looks cool. Fits good, I assume it's not a DOT helmet? I'd like to pick one up similar, either a daytona or biltwell.

It's DOT. Supposedly it's the slimmest DOT 3/4 helmet. I really like the Biltwell's but they aren't DOT. If you can find a local store that sells the Fulmer V2, I would check those out before buying a Biltwell.

Nice, I like it.

I just ordered a Fulmer V2 because I was not paying the vintage premium prices. Should be the best of both worlds.

I also checked out the Z1R and THH and they are not bad options either. Dirt cheap.

I think I just found my next helmet. Been trying to find a 3/4 helmet with slim padding and D.O.T. approved. Thanks!

Ive got a daytona, its just gloss black though. I was going to bring it in the booth and paint it myself a couple years ago but then I saw that everyone with a "dark custom" is wearing helmets that look old school and kinda lost interest in following the parade.

The helmet looks awesome though, the pinstriper did a great job on it.

Looking good. I've been wanting to order one of those for awhile so I finally did last week (got on ebay shipped for $54). Might paint it, might stripe it or will probably just wear as is and ride

what size is your helmet?
i have an old DOT that is a M i think , it fits me great, but i wonder if a new DOT Daytona might be better, since it is up to date on the DOT standards...but like everyone else, hates the bigger helmet look. thanks!
