Question To Tall for an 883 Iron?

I'm looking for a good first bike and the new 883 Iron looks slick. The only question I have about it is am I too tall? I'm 6'4"- all legs. So would it be possible to be too tall for this bike?

I ride my wifes Iron and Im not too uncomfortable... if it were my daily ride I would get forward controls, different bars, and a comfortable seat. Like mentioned before, go sit on one... or better yet go ride one.

I'm a hair away from 6'4" and I ride the nightster. Your best bet is to go sit on it and see how you feel. I have the mid controls still and I'm comfy

Take a good long ride on it if they'll let you. It will get less comfortable the longer you're on it. I haven't bought a new sporty because they seem smaller than mine, I'm 6'4'' too and mine is barely big enough.

The longer your on it and the more stops you make. Your *** is gonna start to hurt. I'm shopping for a new seat as we speak

I believe, (95% sure), that's because they did actually make the frame a bit smaller when they tweaked it to the new design in '04, and is why you see people looking for the forward control extensions for the newer sporties, ('04+).
