Default Installed my solo bag

I just got my Lick's solo bag. I had trouble attaching it at the top right corner. I used a zip tie around the top of the shock -- anyone got a better idea?

The bike is an 09 1200L - I extended the foot peg by getting longer bolts and spacers - moved it out 1.5" and that worked perfect.
Someone suggested getting some clear vinyl for the point where it touches the battery cover, anyone have any ideas where you can find that?

They are right around $200. I think this is the only place they are sold because they make them.

I put a piece of female Velcro on the edge of the bag's lid where it contacts the side cover and will be putting a small piece of 3M paint protectant film on the new side cover I had painted when it comes in. I'm sorry I can't find the website where I found the film but a Google search should do it, that's how I found it.
