Default Vance & hines Straightshots HS Slip-ons

Would I have to re-map if I went with Straightshots HS Slip-ons on my 08 1200C. I hate my Cycle Shacks, they don't even match up to my heat shelds. Just take a look at the pictures in my album. Oh by the way, yes I bought the Cycle Shacks from e-bay, never again.

Not if you're only changing the pipes. Once you change the air, you need to remap. I went with the FuelPak. You should do the air eventually anyway...it'll cool the bike down a bit.

Yes, I just order a set though my stealer and they said the same thing. The air filter has to wait till next summer though.

You may want the Quiet Baffles too. They'll bring the tone down just a little and keep out the tinny sound. The pipes are plenty loud. They can set off car alarms when you want to.

I added those to mine with no remap needed. Been going that way over a year now.

Just had my V&H slipons put on today and WOW! they sound great. They match up to the heat shelds perfect and I don't even get any lite popping on decel like I did with the Cycle Shacks. So i'll be putting the Cycle Shacks on e-bay in a day or two. IOh I even had them put a lead on for a battery tender.

Does anyone make any free flowing baffles for these V&H Straightshots HS Slip-ons. It seems like I'm starting to lug my engine more with the stock baffles that came in the slip-ons. My Cycle Shacks were more open than these. No theres no way I'm going back to the Cycle Shacks.
