Default Nightster/Buell Heads

The Nightster apparently comes with buell heads so I was told by a Harley Mechanic buddy. Is there truth to this?

Can anyone give me an answer to why the buell heads would be more advantageous than the normal 1200cc heads?

The Buell heads are the regular 1200 heads.
2003 These heads were on Buells. More flow and better springs than Sportsters, I believe
2004 Sportsters updated, rubber mount frame, all 1200 models come with "Buell" heads
2010 "Buell" heads are the norm for 1200

well now that buells outta business (the crashed economy did it not the bikes) i hope harley davidson just hands over complete control of the sportster line to Erik Buell and maybe put the buell 1125cc liquid cooled driveline into the sportster.
a stock 140hp range sportster sounds pretty good to me, the buell 1125cc and a sportster 1200 were only a couple grand apart in retail prices. my 2 cents

Yeah I 140Hp sporty would be nice, but they would have to use the Buell brakes since I know for sure the stock sporty brakes would not do the job on a bike that fast.

So my bike has "Buell" heads, but not really-I mean if all the 04 and up 1200' come with them then they are just 1200 heads for th most part right? I guess it just sounds cooler to say the bike has Buell heads?

i'd never call em buell heads, sportster 1200 heads redesigned by erik buell maybe, in any event erik buell knows a thing or 2 about a thing or 2.
them huge buell brakes are pretty good i hear
