I ordered them from Custom Chrome (through my HD Dealer) and do not have them yet. They could be in today. Never even considered the idea of a spacer, that seems like that would work just fine--great idea. If my parts all arrive this week I'll be taking next Monday off to get this done.

Excuse my ignorance guys (and gals for that matter). Nightster bars 1" or 1 & 1/4" diameter? Don't have the users guide on me and finding this crap is a pain in the @$$ if you aren't in front of the bike! Getting some new buffalo risers and need to know the diameter.

Thanks for the help!

So the whole riser thing is a PIA. Standard risers will not work with the 48 bracket because of the way that the back of the bracket cuts back. Doesn't let the bolts match up:

Hard to tell from the last picture but the riser definitely doesn't line up with the bracket. Going to take a look at the risers for the 48 here in a few (Heading down to the stealer to look in their system).

Brettcr--thanks for the all of the updates. I'm heading into my garage right now to look at my parts for Monday. Great pics, don't worry, we'll get this figured out.

I was at the dealer this morning and was looking at the 48 and unless my eyes are funky i think the risers are part of the upper triple tree.

After reading the above post, I called my HD dealer today and am going there to work with them Monday morning to try to make this happen. They want to know how to do it as well b/c other guys/gals have asked about it. I'll try to post some pics by Monday night.
