Default Nightster changed to a Bagger!

So my girlfriend, Germ, got her Nightster changed around the way she wanted it and setup to her liking so far. Thought I would show the drastic changes I made to it. Had it repainted, added quick detach windshield and hard bags along with the bigger tank and lower profile seat. Next is a set of mini-apes to see if she can get a more comfortable position to ride in instead of the stock bars.

Here is the before photo:

And here are the after shots:

Let me know what ya think!

Thumbs up

Damn, i REALLY like that shade of blue and the way it looks with the flat black
[Of course, my Jeep is a nearly identical shade of blue, so i'm partial.]

You should paint the air cleaner cover to match, put on a black 2:1 exhuast, and black rocker box covers next, IMO.

The seat was changed because the sundowner seat is too thick and she couldn't sit flat footed on the bike with that seat installed. So this "reach seat" as HD calls it moves her forward an inch and down an inch or so as well. It works much better for her.

The bags are HD brand hard bags made for the sporty (and I think for Dyna and Softails as well). The only way to mount the license plate without doing much custom work/fabrication or cutting was to use a European license plate mount. Worked perfect she and I think! The only other changes she might make are changing the exhaust to a Thunderheader 2 into 1. She is still debating on going black or chrome with the exhaust though.

Also, the HD decal on the tank is an old Sportster decal from about 83-85 I believe. Style used back then I guess?

Nice touch, didn't notice that the first time around.
