FYI How far can I go on my 48 with a full tank
I ran it dry today..87 miles on the trip odometer that was zeroed on fill up. It took 1.758 gallons to refill it. Make of it what you will ..I think 2.1 gallons is the mathematical capacity not the usable capacity.

I'll say you can go 87 miles.
I've posted in numerous threads that the fuel pump was in the tank.

+1 - a 2.1 gal tank minus what the fuel pump displaces is about enough fuel to get you from one Starbucks to the next.

Great lookin' scoot. If that's a 1200 you're gonna get between 40 & 42 mpg depending on how you ride. That's what I get on my '08 1200xl and mostly in-town riding.

I got to 90miles today, then the light came on.
I run an Arlen Ness ''Big Sucker'', and Samson Legend series ''Sinister''. It took 1.81 gallons @ refill.

I would really like that as a 2nd bike, I know it's got to be a blast to ride, but it's pretty much untripable, my friends would not be happy stopping that often.
