I guess I am confused as to why Stage I gives you replacement 1200 nheads, BUT the Stage II does not????

What are the advantages to the Stage II, it seems the Stage I would be a stroger setup by replacing the 883 heads w/ 1200's???

Is there a difference in hp/tq cures from one to the other??
Any explanation as to which to choose is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I don't have the technicals to pass on to you, but I just went through the upgrade using the 30003-10 (this kit will mirror your current setup with black jugs and heads that look exactly like the stock for a sleeper look).

I had it on the dyno and pulled 78 HP and 74.5 Torque. This was done without cams, but still is an awesome upgrade compared to the stock.
Also, I recommend ordering from Zanotti as I was able to get the full kit for $975 shipped.

I'd assume they refer to it as "Stage 2" because it includes cams. Most of the other kits are just jugs and pistons.

See now that is very interesting....... The stage "1" kit is producing more HP and almost the exact same amount of torque. I think the kits have their trade-offs. Stage 1 comes with 1200 heads, but no cams or tuner and the stage 2 comes with cams and tuner but no heads. So which is the better deal......

IMHO I'd go Stage 1 and then purchase cams separately to my liking.

That's my plan; however, when you look at the specs for the stage 2 you will notice that the compression is 10.5:1. Stock is 9 or 9.2:1, so with some work to the heads you can probably jump the numbers into the 80's low 90's with the stage 2 kit.

See what I started...lol
As you can see, I found it very interesting / confusing that the Stage II kit kept stock 883 heads???? Where as the Stage I gives replacement 1200 Heads???

Thanks for the responses, and keep the info coming if anyone has experience/info on these options.
THANKS!!!

when i did the upgrade , i said screw it because i want the heads and cams and other goodies with 11.3.1 pistons .. another thing to look out for is the size of cam you go with , you will have to change valve springs on stock heads.
