Default 2005 XL1200 C relay next to fuses, Have pic's Opinions?

Discovered this yesterday while working on the GF's bike.. Still appears to work but want to replace it.. Is it some special relay? Don't have any manual on the bike. thx

looks like a starter or system relay.

Yes it is the starter relay. Yes you should replace it. It is a very common relay available at most automotive suppliers.

I have tried running the numbers off of it but cannot find any reference to it on the net.. LOL.. That's why I am here. AND of course I am not going to Harley for it.. I will try my local Napa ,,

Try looking under this p/n RY302 (STD) or RY-302. It's a common automotive relay used by GMC, Nissan, Mitsubishi, etc. for various purposes.

Is the System Relay the same as the known EFI Relay or is it a Different relay. Are the two the same relays for both the Starter and System?

I don't know as I cannot find a good picture of one that looks like mine.. The bike the relay belongs to is carburated though, not an EFI bike....

So true...I'd be looking for the EFI type.
