This has been done before in another form,but whats the fastest anyone has ever gone on an 883?I am not promoting speed demon"s just curious.I did 100 on an stock 2004 883Xl quite a Rush,but don"t think I will try again.

 

I've had mine up to 100 and it had a little left in it. Shhh don't tell anyone though
Mine is stock except for the SE air cleaner and the SEII slip ons.

 

STOCK 07=100 mph, throtle left, no idea what the rpm's were. Porobably close to rev limit.

 

95mph, felt like there was still some left but was running out of reasonable road! Pretty windy up there, but a real blast. Guess I have some work to do to catch up with you 100+ brothers. Plan on a NJ to MD run this weekend; maybe then...

 

well on my way to myrtle beach i went wot and only hit about 96-98. buuutttt the other day on a nice open highway i like around that they just repaved i hit about 108 wot. it was colder and the bike was running good and i also had bored out my baffles and changed my AC.

 

I've had my '06 883 up to slightly over 90. Bike was running fine, seemed that she probably had another 10 - 15 mph in her.

Now you guys have me wondering.

I've only hit 85 on my '04 883 but that was because I felt like the bike was already stressing. Now that I see these posts, I would like to see her get to at least 100 so that I know she can.... safely of course.

 

Not sure how accurate the stock speedo is, but my 00 883 with exhaust and SE ac hit 112. My buddies 04 883 with drilled baffles has hit 108.

 

Got 85 before I had to slow down, too much cross wind.

 

I've had my stock '05 XL883L up to 100 once on a great straight away. Don't know if she could've gone any faster, got to chicken to push her more :O) I usually run around 70 (unless passing those darn semi's) on the highway with no problems though.
