Default 90+ hp and torque???

I have a 2006 XL883L with a 1200 conversion. I used stock 1200 Jugs and flat top pistons with Screamin' Eagle 10.5:1 compression heads and a Screamin' Eagle performance .575 lift cam. It is pushing 84hp and 78 Torque. How can i get it put out 90+ horse and torque without changing the displacment anymore??????

A stage II port job on your heads and a good 2-1 pipe with a good tune should do it.

90/90 isn't going to happen. You should be able to get to 90HP with some good pipes and a good tune. If you have the SE heads, they cannot be re-worked.

You should of asked this question before you built your motor.

Screaming Eagle was the wrong way to go. As said you can''t do much with the heads other than polish them. So a bored carb and intake is out of the question. And I'm pretty sure? that those SE pistons can't be used with other heads.

As I said you should asked questions first, especially the one about how much horse power to expect from the build.

That's why when I did mine, I went with Buell parts, I realize those parts are getting harder to find. You might be able to squeeze a few more out with a good exhaust and breather MATCHED to your set-up, MIGHT even be able to port match things and do some polishing.

You want the simplest solution? Bolt on a NOS injection kit with a small bottle. This way you can pick and choose when you want the extra HP. I used to run NOS on my ironhead just to mess with my riding buddies. They'd quit laughing when I'd roar by, although resume when my advance springs would break.... Doh!

You only want to use the Buell stuff on the pre-rubbermount bikes. The 1200 XB heads are very good. As posted earlier, good question from the OP, just the very wrong time.
