Default Seat options and opinions wanted

I've got a 97 1200 custom and have the stock seat and a wide Harley "touring" seat, both came with the bike. I am looking for something that is comfy, yet looks like it should be on a Sportster. The factory wide seat looks a little too big for the bike IMO. The stock seat looks nice, but I wanted to go with something else. Looking at the Mustang seats currently, but wanted other opinions from people who have had different brands. I would be open to a solo/rear system cause I do a lot of riding by myself, but have my 13 yr old son that likes to tag a long now and then. Any replies appreciated!

I bought the Mustang Daytripper dual seat. Nice lines and a big improvement comfort wise over the stock seat.

Have the same seat, except it is the solo version. Both an upgrade in comfort and looks when compared to the stock seat. I did 1400 miles in 2 days on that seat and aside from a little butt soreness, the seat held up good.

Check us out at http://www.ceebaileys.com/seats/seatservmain.html

Cee Baileys can help you fix up your current stock seat by re-cushioning it; but if you want something different, you can tell us what you want and we custom make it for you after you fill out a quick questionnaire about your preference(s)

PM if you have any questions =) Hope this can help

Need advise!!! I am a petite female with an 04 Sportster XL1200C and I'm thinking of purchasing the Mustang Wide Solo Seat with driver backrest and need advise if this is going to be too wide for me at 15 inches?? Also, is it going to sit me higher on the bike?
Thanks.

Would depend on how wide your jeans are. How tall you are, etc

Pics are the best way to tell, really

Pics would help us give you an opinion. Tight shorts, jeans or bikini would be most helpful.

You jumped in on someone else's thread with that one! The guys on here won't be able to concentrate properly now. Better start your own post, then you are more likely to get replies from other ladies on here, who will be more helpful than butch blokes over 6 feet tall with their jaws on the floor!

Well, I ordered one of the Mustang wide tour solo seats, it came in and I set it on the bike to see how it would look and feel. It sits A LOT higher than stock (makes the bike feel more than an inch higher) and is a bit too wide for me at the front, so it's getting returned. I'm going to try to get over to JP's or something and see if I can try a few out before buying again.
