Paintin' the Nightster Engine
#11
+1 on the prep.
I painted mine last spring. I cleaned it with a degreaser, then sprayed it off with brake cleaner, then sprayed it with Dupli-color flat engine paint. It didn't take too long to mask it, the push rod tubes and bases were the biggest pain. The bolt heads were very tedious too. The whole thing only took a couple of hours to do. The paint is holding up very well.

Any pics, now that it's been a few years?
I'm just about to pull the trigger on this and would love some insight.
