Default Anyone Regret Buying Teir Harley?

Not trying to start a fight or a pissing match here, but, after buying my 2011 Sportster Custom a year ago I have had nothing but problems with it. Then after digging around in the forums I have found a lot of people with minor to major problems. So I begun talking to the local Harley community and found a lot of people with major issues with their bikes. But it seems I usually get the same answers from most people, "Yeah, but what am I supposed to do ? Ride a Jap bike?" Is it me or do most people prefer the Harley image over the quality issues with their bikes? I always said I'd never ride a jap bike, but wondering if I should retract that statement to a "maybe". Like I said I'm not trying to **** you guys off, I'm being serious. It seems alot of the parts aren't American anymore and seem to be Made In China. Is the MOCO concerned about the bottom line more? And with Willie G. retired is the future of the American motorcycle dying. Any mature input would be greatly appreciated,Thanks.

NOPE. There are a couple I regret that I didn't buy.

And I have rode Jap bikes in the past. I just like Harley.

Nope I have a 2012 and no regrets thus far. If you are unhappy with your bike have you considered other American companies such as Victory? Harley isn't your only choice.

Not at all. I love my bike and haven't had any issues so far. My only problem seems to be the money I sink in making it my own.
What kind of issues are you having?

Hell no. This is my first Harley and I'll never turn back. Best decision I've ever made. It would be interesting to hear what problems you're having with yours.

buyer's remorse? you kiddin' right...ideally, we all want no problems or issues...occasionally, we get them, it's just the nature of the beast...at the end of the day, it comes down to how the company backs up their product...

my 2 cents, if its not carb then your in trouble cause its so much harder to work on. i bought an 02 and as with anything used it had problems but nothing a bit of ingenuity and advice from other cant help. just stick it out man one problem i had was my 02 wouldnt start for anything battery kept dying and dumb stuff so I ended up dropping 300 bills trying to find the problem and it turned out to be a 9 dollar starter relay, its like the guys at the bike shop i chill at tell me "yo tiene pinchi harley guay,me pagan" you want a f**in harley man, pay up. oh how true it is.

No way I would ride anything but a Harley! Got an 08 Heritage with 20000 miles, not one problem, I haven't done a thing except regular maintenance.
