I am really wanting the Rough Craft exhaust on the Guerrilla bike. But dont want to pay the high price so thinking its a good time to pickup a welder and try some fabing myself. can someone tell me cause I just dont know. the connection point with the motor. anything special? or is it just a bolted flange and gasket?

 

You could get something like the biltwell DIY kit that comes with the flanges you need. There are probably other kits out there that would make it easy to fabricate one yourself too. That's the only one I know off the top of my head.

 

i bought a header weld up kit from summit racing for a small block chevy for 90 bux...so far ive built 2 exhausts and have plenty left over..heres my most recent one and i have a lot of pics of the build of the first one also...

the second exhaust i cut the rear pipe just after the o2 sensor. the front pipe just got added to...the first exhaust was a full front pipe i built and added and o2 bung and the rear was cut after the downward bend right about where the clamp grabs the pipe for support...then i just found bends that i needed in the pile of pipes from the header kit...its 1.75" tubing and matches the stock diameter perfectly...next i wanna do a stepped set of pipes...
