Question Price Check: Iron 883 Take Offs From My HD Installed 1200 Conversion

I had HD Dealer install the Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 1200 conversion on my 2011 Iron. I got the bike back today after a roughly 2.5 day turn around. My stock take off parts have 160 miles on them. This was the kit they installed:

So basically my cylinders and cylinder heads & maybe the stock AC as well I'd be looking to sell. The service manager I've been dealing with mentioned to me(without me mentioning selling them) before I walked out a guy in the shop would be interested in buying my take off's. I told him, I'd have to see how much their worth. I mentioned to him they must be worth around $200-300, and he shook his head no. So what do you guys think they are worth? $100-150 seems kinda low to me for the blacked out cylinders and cylinder heads, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm more of a car guy when it comes to engines & performance stuff.

I have a nice set of the black forward controls sitting in a box in my garage waiting to be installed. I still need to get the reduced reach conversion from HD with retails at $169. So if they really aren't worth that much, maybe I can get the guy to buy them(employee discount I'd imagine) and do my forward control conversion for me for an even swap.

Ebay doesn't have anything 2009 or newer listed for me to get a price check on. Only a couple 2007 cylinders as the newest I think. I believe 2009 and newer cylinders cannot be bored out like previous years?

TIA!

And laugh you should.
An 883 with factory gearing converted to a 1200 will pull away from a stock 1200, up to about 70 mph.
The heads are probably worth the most, up to 200 bucks. You might squeeze 250 out of 'em at the right time and place. I'd offer you $125, shipped. Jugs, maybe $50-$100 for the set. The pistons make a nice pair of ashtrays for $5.

It may not have the top end speed of a factory 1200, but with the 883 gearing, he'll eat up a factory 1200 getting there.

Thanks. I knew bout the gearing etc. I'm going to ride it with 883 gears for now, change the gearing later if I want. I'll maybe just shelve the parts or do a swap for something. I'm not really in a rush as I'm busy riding. :-)

I'm not to concerned about racing the bike either guys, I have a 500 HP supercharged V6 to do that with. I just wanna cruise so to speak lol.

My understanding is 2007 cylinders are good to go for boring...2008 and up no go.

+1 - the jugs are pretty much useless, but the 883 heads have value for doing advanced headwork. There's more "meat" in the 883 heads to work with compared to 1200 heads if someone is looking to do Stage-2+ headwork.
