Default 02 1200 running fine, then suddenly coughs and sputters

So i was riding and it was running great, then i took off from the light, and had no power just coughs and sputters. It will fire up fine and idle fine, but will not take throttle. Just coughs and sputters out the carb.

Ive cleaned the airfilter, changed the gas, installed seafoam, changed and gapped the plugs and checked the oil level. Their is also no codes.

I guess the next step is to tear apart the carb or do you think it could be the ignition module?

does it only do this after the bike is warmed up? like 15-20mins+?? If so I'm willing to bet its the crank position sensor. I had this issue and everything pointed to a fueling issue. The crank position sensor is only 50 bucks and all dealers stock them because it is very common failure. I'd buy one and try it and if its not it atleast you have one for when it does actually go.
