Biggest tire size for stock rear
Anyone know whats the biggest/widest tire size that will fit on a stock 05 XL1200C rear rim?
The stock size is 150/80B16 I'd like to squeak a 160/80H16....although I think it would look killer with a 180 on it also.
But I'll settle for an Avon Venom Rear Tire 160/80H-16 .....
Anyone do this or at least know if it would fit on the current stock rim??????

Be sure and check specific manufacturer tire widths, as all 150/16 tires aren't make equally..
A 160 tire from one company not be any 'wider' than a 150 tire from another.
That being said, you would need to pay close attention to the tire/belt clearance (upper belt) if you want to use the stock setup.
I just 'eyeballed' the clearance on my '05 1200C with the Dunlop 150, and it's a pretty tight fit between the edge of the rear tire and belt.
