Reach Solo Seat?

RE: Reach Solo Seat?
Hey Barry , I gave my Daughter a reach solo seat for Christmas.
Her bike is a 2001 XL883 which seems to be about the tallest sporty I've seen.
She's 5 foot 4" and I wanted to get her feet down and out wider at a stop.
The seat is perfect for this and the back of the seat is actually quite wide and comfy looking.
Since the holidays we haven't ridden, but it looks more comfortable than the stock 2 up seat.
It is actually fairly firm compared to the stock seat also.
Time will tell , but it seems like a good move for her.
Mick

RE: Reach Solo Seat?
I'm 5'8" and can sit flat-footed fine. I'm also okay with the handlebars except I have to hunch forward a little. I'm hoping the Reach Solo will move me close enough so that my back isn't killing me on long rides. From what you have posted here, I'll probably go ahead and get it.
Thanks,
Barry

I think it will probably work for you as long as you won't mind having your legs bent a little more when they're on the controls. Your dealer should be able to let you mount it on your bike so you can feel its fit before you purchase it. I think most dealers do that for seat purchases.
